Comment I agree the name needs to change but framing it as "in the United States" and "outside the United States" is not sensible on a global encyclopedia. An attack on a Jewish institution in France or wherever does not have as one of its important characteristics the fact that it's not in the USA. Dan Carkner (talk) 14:46, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, as to the original proposed "outside the United States" idea, but having split-off lists by country from a main list with a generic name is standard pratice; that is, the "in the United States" side article is not "broken" in any way. — SMcCandlish☏¢ 😼 11:04, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Rename to List of attacks on Jewish institutions, per Necrothesp. There is no need to merge the US one into it; just use WP:SUMMARYSTYLE with regard to it. (Though a merge could be proposed anyway, it is not dispositive in any way as to the outcome of this RM.) A "outside the United States" title would be not okay; we don't do topical lists that way. They start at the base name of the subject ("List of foo"); when geo-political splitting is warranted, they are split by country (or sometimes by larger region): "List of foo in Bar". — SMcCandlish☏¢ 😼 11:04, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I did it. I added a "Thwarted attacks" section because that page included those and this didn't. Also I removed a few (one was literally someone writing "Free Palestine" on a synagogue.. if we were counting graffiti we would be here all day). I'll deal with the series later since they don't play well with the table. PARAKANYAA (talk) 11:57, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
