Potala

The Potala has an overall height of more than 300 m, albeit incorporating a hill. Does this not count when listing tallest buildings? (20040302 (talk) 11:08, 4 January 2010 (UTC))

Sky City One

Maybe this planned building should be added, it's not under construction yet, but it's going to take only 3 months to be completed. Incompleteness

I've lived in parts of China and Hong Kong for long and I guarantee these buildings listed are a tiny fraction of the picture, I can easily double the content of this page by adding skyscrapers yet to be listed in the city of Shenzhen alone. You won't believe how many high-rises are being built here and there each day unless you've truly been to China. Please help the page by adding any tall building you know that exists or being constructed in the country.Wishds (talk) 11:15, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

Automatic numbering

Hello all, Can someone implement automatic row numbering into this list? At present it is missing at least 30 items, but it would be too tedious to add them unless the rows could renumber themselves. Kestreltail (talk) 22:21, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

• @Kestreltail: your best bet is probably the Helpdesk if you're looking for a prompt response. WT:SKY is also an decent choice, but responses there may still take quite some time. VPT is another possibility for questions of a technical nature.
  Now don't take me for the final word in anything as my experience on enWP is fairly limited, but since most talk pages are not watched I think they tend to work best as notebooks to explain the editorial decisions and thought process behind revisions for people reading months or years in the future so they know what was done and why. They only function well as pages for help and discussion if the topic is one that attracts a lot of editing and editors who then watch the talk page, otherwise you just end up monologuing to a ghost-town.
  As I said earlier though if you're willing to wait a few weeks, I can add automatic numbering to any table where requested. While we're on that topic, your attempt to ping me here failed because you have to add your signature and a new line at the same time you link the userpage of the recipient, and hence pings always fail with misspellings see Manual:Echo for more details. Echo notifications can be surprisingly tricky so hopefully you can help spread the knowledge around. In this case though I saw your thanks so I was still able to find this. Alternatively you can just leave a message on my meta talk page. (please ping on reply)
