The Exchange 106 Taller Then Petronas Twin Towers
editThe information provided by skyscrapercenter.com appears to be incorrect. The website claims that The Exchange 106 is 445.5 metres tall when it is actually 492 metres.
Wrong Info: https://www.skyscrapercenter.com/building/the-exchange-106/24971
Correct Info: https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se-asia/at-492m-exchange-106-officially-dethrones-petronas-twin-towers-as-malaysias-tallest --Pavithran (talk) 10:18, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- This has been discussed before. The 492m height is measured from sea level not the lowest accessible entrance above ground - which is the criteria used by CTBUH (Skyscraper centre). You will need to provide other more reliable sources than the one you have stated. Also please start new topics on talk pages at the bottom of the page as per WP:TALK. Thanks Robynthehode (talk) 10:23, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you, I've clarified this with CTBUH too. Apologies for the placement ``Pavithran (talk) 07:00, 21 December 2021 (UTC)
Inconsistent Ranking
editWhen you have things ordered in a ranking where ties are permitted, normally if two such things are tied at position n, then the next thing after those two things is not at position n+1 but at n+2. Since the Petronas towers are two buildings, Exchange 106 should be #4, not #3 (there is no #3). Curiously, this is done correctly with regards to rank positions 8-10, where two buildings are tied at #8 and the next building is at #10. 128.119.163.153 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 20:21, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
