Timeline of tallest buildings

edit

I was looking to see what might have preceded the Globe Building and found that the Pillsbury "A" Mill is 187' tall and was built in 1881. This should supplant both the Globe Building and the Lumber Exchange Building in the list. I didn't find the exact height of the Washburn "A" Mill (1879), but it might well be in this list too. I suspect other mill buildings would precede these in the list, but I don't have the details to add them.--Appraiser (talk) 19:45, 29 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Emporis

edit

Please be wary of using Emporis as the defacto primary source. That site is often outdated and numbers incorrect from the actual source. Always corroborate with the city planning commission or city council minutes, or from the developer themselves. Emporis has done a good job of hiding the fact they are actually fully dependent on user-contributions. It's essentially a delayed-wiki. .:davumaya:. 22:01, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
