List of the largest evangelical church auditoriumsList of the largest Protestant church buildings – Might as well broaden the scope slightly? PPEMES (talk) 11:16, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Relisted. – Ammarpad (talk) 14:17, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Would this actually change the content of the article? Are there Protestant churches with auditoria having capacity >=10,000 that aren't considered evangelical 'megachurches'? Colin M (talk) 07:38, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Why not keep the article name WP:CONCISE and WP:PRECISE? PPEMES (talk) 12:37, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
It can be confusing to broaden the scope of a list like this in a way that doesn't actually change its content. For example, should we rename List of largest universities to List of largest schools? Presumably the list wouldn't change, since there are unlikely to be any countries where the largest primary school/high school is larger than the largest university. And hey, it's more concise. Similarly, should we rename Men's 100 metres world record progression to 100 metres world record progression? Colin M (talk) 21:06, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

List of the largest evangelical church auditoriumsList of the largest church auditoriums – The "evangelical" modifier is a little limiting. There are non-evangelical auditoriums that might as well belong with other similar auditoriums. For example: LDS Conference Center McKay (talk) 20:00, 13 February 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 22:34, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

The nomenclature will become too similar to List of largest church buildings, although one can argue that is primarily for the size of the building rather than capacity as in this case.HandsomeBoy (talk) 11:28, 14 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

LDS Conference center

edit

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not a part of evangelical Protestantism, and so their LDS Conference Center doesn't qualify for inclusion on a list of the largest evangelical church auditoriums. -- 71.223.57.132 (talk) 22:45, 4 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
