Lead section
editThis article does not introduce itself by saying what the topic actually is. Instead it opens with "The trouble" without saying what "trouble" it refers to. It has been like this almost since it was first created. I think that the lead section could probably do with a general rewrite but simply adding a sentence to the front to say what the hell we are actually doing here would improve things greatly.
