@Onetwothreeip: I observe that between 27 May and 25 June 2022, this article has been receiving an average of 141 views per day. The number of views per day appear to be independent of the number of redirects to this article. This number of views is about a tenth of the views for the article about the Casualties of the September 11 attacks, which this article used to redirect to. The number of views for that article do not appear to have suffered as a result of this article's creation. However, this article might benefit from a hatnote to the "Casualties of the September 11 attacks".
For example:
This article is about the names of victims inscribed at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. For a more general explanation, see Casualties of the September 11 attacks.
Yes, that editor is me; guilty as charged. The nearly 3,000 redirects are the names on the list. I've now restored the victims' details as reported in the sources, after completing the cleanup in my sandbox. There are still some dabs and redlinks to sort out, but they are few and far in between. — Guarapiranga☎15:12, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why does it say 2,994 instead of 2,977, which seems to be what the sources say? For example [[1]] says 2,983 and that's including the 6 killed in the 1993 bombing. Danstronger (talk) 00:44, 14 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Maybe it's outdated? 2,994 is simply the number of the last row on the table. New fatal victims have been identified in the last few years (see [1][2][3], but I do see these sources also quote different totals from both the Memorial, this page, and each other!). — Guarapiranga☎00:54, 14 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
No, those stories are about identifying additional victims with their remains, not about adding new people to the list of fatalaties. The Times of Israel one says 2753 at WTC, which is consistent with 2977 victims total. The WTC memorial webpage also says 2983 including the 6 from '93, which also gives 2977. I don't know why the table has more rows, but we should put a headline number that agrees with what sources say or not say the number at all. Danstronger (talk) 02:01, 14 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@ILoveHirasawaYui: If you have pictures of any victims first published before March 1, 1989, and there isn't a copyright notice at the time of original publication, it's probably not copyrighted (the photographer would have had to registered the photo with the U.S. copyright office). See c:COM:HIRTLE for more info. — Red-tailed hawk(nest)01:33, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
