editThere are more that two volcano sites in Thailand.
Kao Ploy Waen (Ringstone Mountain) is an extinct volcano in Chantaburi province, It is famous for its sapphires and is well know to people in the area as well as those involved in gem mining in Thailand.
There is also probably another volcano site to the east of Kao Panom rung in Buriram province. The area of Kantaralak in Sirisaket Province is well know for basalt soils and again sapphires which are smaller and of a lower quality than those found in Chantaburi. For someone interested in adding to this Thai volcano page please investigate these two locations.203.131.210.82 (talk) 03:02, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
