about AFD-deleted hospitals, now that hospital list-articles expanding
editExpansion of the system of list-articles about hospitals has been going on. I don't agree with including the most non-notable hospitals into such lists, but if lists are created/expanded that now properly cover certain AFD-deleted hospital articles, then it is time to restore those articles. Either to be kept as individual articles and expanded, or to be merged/redirected to those hospital's items/rows in list-articles, so that readers can find info about them.
At Talk:List of hospitals in Oceania, I commented that "I have participated in some AFDs about hospitals that seemed notable, I think more than just marginal, to me in the past, which ended "delete"; if there is now a list-article covering their area then I would like to get those restored and either keep as an article or merge their material/redirect them to their row/item in whatever list-article." These include hospital articles deleted in the following AFDs:
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sri Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Surya Hospital
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hospital de San Carlos
I may find more, and may proceed to request un-deletions to be able to restore the past content and edit contributions, if only to what becomes a redirect now, but may in the future be restored and expanded. --Doncram (talk) 02:33, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
