These village lists were compiled from the NIPOST and INEC websites, which are often down as with many Nigerian government websites. As with many Nigerian government agencies, there are many typos and mistakes which can hopefully be corrected with crowdsourcing help. These Wikipedia articles will make Nigerian village lists much more accessible to ordinary Nigerians and to people around the world. I hope that someday the villages can be put onto Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, and other online map services, but this has not been done yet. Greenwhitedino (talk) 10:37, 15 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
