This page should not be speedily deleted because... The Little RES Q is not a fly by non profit, it has been around since 2008 and has been in the media spotlight quite a bit the last couple of years due to the grueling work they do. They have also sent in the papers to become a Canadian Charity. I copied the OSPCA's page to get a feel on how to write the wikipage, and will be adding some parts from Ontario Nature. If its the external link that is the issue I can remove that to save the page. The Little RES Q is already very popular and I feel they belong in Wikipedia due to their long history, media attention, and dedicated work that no one else wants to do (reason they are the only known turtle rescue in Canada). If you give me a little more time I can get the ref up as we listed in publications (unsure if there is an online copy, however I could take a photo of the book that was made by the Toronto Zoo) & Canadian government websites. --Kingrattus (talk) 05:08, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Sure, that would really help. However, unless you can provide the article with reliable sources, including any third party sources that would therefore assert the article's notability, then it would still qualify for A7. A fundamental rewrite is also required - please refer to your talk page. hmssolent\Let's convene 05:11, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Additionally, content such as these: "Little RES Q (also known as resq) is dedicated to the rescue......" and "They provide a better option for those who, for one reason or another, cannot take care of their pet turtles anymore." may as well fall under WP:SPAM as promotional, which is not acceptable for inclusion. hmssolent\Let's convene 05:20, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Not sure if I'm doing this Talk thing right. Got rid of the "they provide a better option..." Added some links & here are a lot if URLS lol.

:::::I have taken the liberty of withdrawing the CSD nomination - but please ensure that aside from external links, you will also need to cite additional sources, such as news reports or the like - otherwise, sooner or later, another editor may arrive and re-nominate the article for speedy deletion. hmssolent\Let's convene 05:32, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Never mind, keep up the good work! hmssolent\Let's convene 05:33, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you! Is it ok to make a title called Media and put all the media URLs under that? Just so it doesn't get mixed in with the URLs to the sites that are related to what Little RES Q does. Or keep is all in one?Kingrattus (talk) 05:40, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- There's absolutely no need for an extra section. I suggest that you tell a bit more about the subject, then add a reflink to each content you deem necessary - please see WP:CITE for an even more detailed discussion about this. A good tool to get you started is Wikicite - all it does is create a reflink based on any reference material you enter, be it a URL, a book, anything, and it will produce something like this:

<ref name="Latimer Road station to close for engineering works">{{Cite web|url=http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscentre/archive/17944.aspx|title=Latimer Road station to close for three months for engineering works |date=14 January 2011 | work=Transport for London|accessdate=7 February 2013}}</ref> All you need to do then is to paste it somewhere on the page. Ensure that you have the {{reflist}} template included beneath the "references" section to allow any of your references to appear. Hope this helps, hmssolent\Let's convene 06:43, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
