Hey - does anyone know if this take of "Farmer's Daughter" is the same one released as a bonus track on the 2004 edition of "Tusk"? Sure sounds the same - perhaps minus some reverb - but the "Tusk" reissue has no session information. Randy's Rodeo 23:01, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's definitely not the case that all tracks barring Monday Morning are from the Tusk tour. Rhiannon is *definitely* an early 1977 version (a comparison of bootlegs from the era can prove this - the style of the guitar solo and the improv at the end changes), "Don't Let Me Down Again" wasn't done on the Tusk Tour, and neither was "Over My Head". There's a couple of others I wouldn't be too sure about either. --FleetfootMike 12:59, 6 January 2007 (UTC) (sheepishly and belatedly signed)Reply

Where was the tracks' recording year info taken from? I'd like to verify it. Alvabass (talk) 19:07, 22 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

There is no official verification. There never has been. But fans can identify which songs were performed on which tours, which instruments were used on which tours, and even how the style of songs evolved from one tour to another, and the educated assumptions are widely accepted. On this album, MONDAY MORNING, SAY YOU LOVE ME, DREAMS, OVER MY HEAD, RHIANNON, and DON’T STOP were recorded on the 1977 tour and DON’T LET ME DOWN AGAIN was recorded on the 1975 tour. 172.250.144.214 (talk) 01:16, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
One more point about the additional tracks on the 2021 deluxe set: THE CHAIN is mislabeled as a 1980 performance (the mislabeling even predates the album release and showed up in marketing). It was recorded in Los Angeles in 1982 — it is nearly identical to the commercial release of the Los Angeles shows that year. There were two shows (Oct. 21 and 22). The commercial VHS and laserdisc performance (also released on the Mirage deluxe set) is from Oct. 21 and the performance from LIVE deluxe is from Oct. 22. 172.250.144.214 (talk) 01:22, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
