I don't have time to point out ever portion that's written like an essay. Here's one section though: "Livi Michael began to write when she was just a child of seven years old, her career as a novelist however, really started with her first novel, Under a Thin Moon in 1992."
I guess a good way to check would be to read through every sentence and ask yourself if it's something you would say compared to if it's something that you would read in an encyclopedia. Essay style comes out like someone is telling a story to a small child. Words like "really" are used to emphasize something and emphasis isn't generally used in an encyclopedia concerned with facts or opinions of qualified specialists.
As a note, I have been and will keep an eye on all the edits made here. The changes being made are very good but can continue. Also, the improvement templates signal other editors to come and assist as well. OlYeller21Talktome 14:57, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'm not going to add a cleanup tag but per the WP:MOS, references go after punctuation. OlYeller21Talktome 21:17, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
References have been cleaned. Some of them are probably placed in-line too often but I'm not going to nitpick. The article isn't a WP:GA but I don't see anything in it at this point that warrants an improvement template or any immediate action. OlYeller21Talktome 18:14, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
