yDNA show MacDuinnshléibhe are Scottish and not Irish MacDuinnshléibhe

edit

SNP tests of those identified as being of the MacDuinnshléibhe of Bachuil, show them to be L1065+, that is common to eastern Scotland. Other Scottish MacDuinnshléibhe (identified by Anglized surnames MacLea/Livingstone) belong to sub-branch of L1065, that suggests that they are members of Cenel Loairn. Which would not be surprising given the Scottish MacDuinnshléibhe claim to be descendants of the hereditary abbots of Lismore. And Lismore was the principal Christian site within Cenel Loairn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.1.235.124 (talk) 22:57, 16 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
