- The links added to External links are in Japanese which is why I have added the {{jp icon}}. English language sources would really help.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 17:14, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, there are many Japanese articles about LOCATION VIEW service, but I think English article is only one, cited at External Link —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.217.109.219 (talk) 17:46, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
I removed the unattributed claim regarding "90%" coverage of Tokyo. Passive voice attributions (e.g., "it is said that") are extremely common in Japanese journalism, but are generally frowned upon in most Western media. It is not fitting for a wikipedia article. It WOULD be interesting to get a real cited fact in there regarding Location view's coverage. That should be easy for a native Japanese reader to find, so please find it! :-)--Gregapan (talk) 23:58, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
By the way, I think the request for citations referred to the lack of citations for the INFORMATION contained in the article, not citations for the links! The link citations seem unnecessary... --Gregapan (talk) 00:38, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Trivial "Locations" section?
editI have tagged the "Locations" section, as I don't see the point in listing arbitrary spots in Tokyo and other cities that are covered by the map service. If the service covers Tokyo, then surely it goes without saying that these and thousands of other locations in Tokyo can be seen, so there is no need to mention them by name. I think it would be more encyclopedic to list the cities that are currently covered by the service. --DAJF (talk) 02:16, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
