I not from the edit history that there is a claim this place has 55 houses. As far as I can see from the OS, "Loch Bay" is the arm of Luch Dunvegan and I can find no settlement called "Lochbay". The co-ordinates provided are for the middle of the loch. Ben MacDui 09:59, 15 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I found this page on ScotlandsPlaces: Skye, Lochbay, Stein, General. It says Stein (fomerly Lochbay). So it looks like Lochbay is an old name for the village now named Stein, so I think it would make sense to merge this article to there. Also, according to that link, there was a fairly substantial fishing port planned (and designed by Thomas Telford), so some of that should be mentioned in the (merged) article. --Vclaw (talk) 14:22, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
