The comments that Lodi raised Corporate taxes and drove businesses out of town is incorrect. The Village of Lodi does not control corporate taxes the state does. Most businesses left through consolidation such as Gourmet Salads who built new facilities in Medina and moved its Lodi, and old Medina as well as other locations to the new Medina complex. Invacare also consolidated operations at its Elyria Headquarters and most of its operations (and jobs) are located in China now.

Lodi Station Outlets is technically in Burbank, Ohio. It uses Lodi in its name because that is the town name on the nearby exit sign. 69.81.76.228 (talk) 01:41, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. I deleted the false information about corporate taxes imposed by the Village of Lodi. I also corrected the article to say that the outlets are actually located in nearby Burbank, Ohio. ~ Quacks Like a Duck (talk) 14:31, 25 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Scooby-Doo's hometown: Coolsville = Lodi, Ohio

edit

My "pop culture" entry was reverted. Nikkimaria said that the screen capture of the map of Ohio from the Scooby-Doo film was an "unreliable source." But this is pop culture! How more reliable can you get, than an officially licensed DVD? Coolsville simply is located on the same place on the map where Lodi is in real life. I'm not claiming that Lodi is the only possible location of Coolsville, but it is clearly one "reliably sourced" location. And possibly the only location which is shown on a real-world zoomed-in map. I mean, look at the screen shot of the map from the DVD: https://scooby-doo.fandom.com/wiki/File:Scooby-Doo-Curse-of-the-Lake-Monster_Coolsville_in_Map_03_Caption_by_Dxrd.png

It would not be good Wikipedia praxis to delete the Pop Culture section just because someone doesn't like Scooby-Doo, or doesn't think it's a dignified factoid about the town. It is Reliably Sourced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Traversetravis (talkcontribs) 04:01, 6 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
