- Logistics Combat Element → Logistics combat element
- Marine Air-Ground Task Force → Marine air-ground task force
- Marine Expeditionary Force → Marine expeditionary force
- Marine Expeditionary Brigade → Marine expeditionary brigade
– Capitalization - none of these are proper names, just terms for military formations, no more magical than "armored brigade" or "infantry platoon". MOS:CAPS says "Do not apply initial capitals in a full term that is a common noun just because capitals are used in its abbreviation.", though it is easy to get the feeling that the upper case in these is directly and solely due to the capitals used in their abbreviations. Some formations of these types already have correctly lower-cased articles: Ground combat element, Aviation combat element, Marine expeditionary unit.
