I've changed the date of creation - the Dictionary of National Biography notes that in June 1444 the first Lord was on record as "Sir Andrew Gray", and the first reference as "Lord Gray" is on 1 July 1445. Further, he's on the list of peers after Lord Saltoun, known to have been created in 28 June 1445, so the writer concluded the peerage was created on the same date. Shimgray 23:04, 1 Feb 2005 (UTC)
