Character listings
editI went through the character listings and organized them based on the listings in the anime. The seven Vanadis are listed in their own section. If the characters are only major for a particular story (per the anime), and the only regulars are, for example, Tiger and Titta, then feel free to move them back to their old categories. The listings should be scrubbed for the light novel profiles as well. -AngusWOOF (talk) 01:37, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
Sources
editI'm thinking we should use Tsukasa Kawaguchi's official blog and Tatsuo Sato's interview as sources to include production information in this article and the character articles as well as light novel afterwords. Meanwhile, I'm thinking about expanding the reception with other sources. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 07:57, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- They seem good for this purpose. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 01:34, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
For the media section you may check The Fandom Post and of course ANN news. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 01:40, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
I think the Tsukasa Kawaguchi interview for MF Bunko J would work as a source as well. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 20:39, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
Reception

Current Status - To do
editFeel free to add more problems to be addressed if anyone sees them. Scratch off as they are completed. —KirtZMessage 03:20, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- References need cleaning up.
Manga table needs filling out.- Reception needs expanding with sources listed by Gabriel above.
Episode list needs work.
Needs either trimming greatly to at least three or four lines per episode, or splitting as is into List of Lord Marksman and Vanadis episodes. Right now it just adds unnecessary bulk to the page.—KirtZMessage 03:23, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- I completed the episode list. Here it is: List of Lord Marksman and Vanadis episodes. Also, the plot needs to be expanded up to volume 10. We may also need to develop a production section. I'm also proposing that we should split the light novel list into a separate article. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 03:45, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- I think it's a good idea to split the light novel list. I was also wondering (really, wondering because I'm not sure) if the manga could be grouped with it. I don't know if it was ever done before or even if it's recommendable but how about a list of both light novel and manga (it'd be titled print media or books? I even don't know)? Just wondering... Gabriel Yuji (talk) 04:05, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'll think about that. By the way, are there any official sources saying how the story arcs should be split? I've been trying to find some sources for that. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:13, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- As I said before, I'm not familiar with the series to help with in-universe aspects... Sorry. I can complete the "Manga" section sourcing, though. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 04:37, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hm, on the manga: from where you took the "144th issue" from? I don't think Media Factory enumerates the magazine this way. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 04:40, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- I cleared up that "144th" issue thing. Anyway, I'm all for splitting the light novel section. I really dont know about combining the manga with it though. —KirtZMessage 02:02, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
- I would agree with the light novel split. I'm writing the summaries in my sandbox so far. I may need some help from experts who are familiar with the volumes with further rewrites though once I finish it. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 03:39, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

Light novel section has been spun off into List of Lord Marksman and Vanadis light novels. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 10:53, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- In addition, I have expanded the plot summary so far and expanded the production section with interviews as well. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 08:13, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
Quick B assessments
edit- B2, just missing critical reception.
- As for structure, the only legit reason was reception is missing in the lead. Outside of the assessment, I'd say the first paragraph in the lead is too long.
- I failed the accessibility due to the explosion of in-universe terms. I thought the plot was too much for a general reader. A second opinion can pass this if they want.
DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 07:35, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- I'll probably try to trim down the plot section to make it a bit accessible. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 20:35, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
- I just tried going through all the RS we have in our databank with no luck. Other than ANN which has a review for practically every episode, I am sorry to say that I am turning up dry on this one. Maybe when it gets released in the UK the reviews will come in, I will also take a look at my Otaku USA magazines. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 01:19, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
