Upcoming Transfer to Toronto FC
editThanks to whoever put the lock on the page. For future edits, as of today (January 4, 2022) he is still a Napoli player and people should not be changing his current team to Toronto FC. I am curious if the upcoming move should be noted in his club history since it has been reported by reliable sources such as Fabrizio Romano.[1] A move seems imminent and regardless of the current status, the confirmation of the deal is worth noting, especially since the terms are "finalized." Are there any objections to adding Insigne's upcoming move to the Major League Soccer in the club section? -Canadiancon2020 (talk) 23:41, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
- It should only be added when it is confirmed by the team. Until then, it is still unofficial and a rumour, rather than an objective fact. Even though Romano is a very credible reporter, it is still not an official and there is still technically the possibility it does not happen. RedPatch (talk) 00:20, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
- Well, now it's official. RedPatch (talk) 14:24, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

- It is updated. He joins in July, not today. He is still a Napoli played until June 30 RedPatch (talk) 14:32, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

He has signed a pre-contract to join Toronto FC in Major League Soccer beginnning 1 July 2022.
The above line has a spelling error. It should be beginning not beginnning. 2A02:C7E:3242:4000:DD69:7B0:AF1:1FD3 (talk) 17:29, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
- Corrected. Thank you. RedPatch (talk) 17:32, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
He is known in particular for his ... short height?
editI just came upon this line in the article and I'm confused. The source is almost ten years old and the link is dead. Is this really something that should be on here? Franzfergidon (talk) 21:29, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
