Fair use rationale for Image:LorillardLogo.gif
editImage:LorillardLogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:50, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
What?
editis the 18th oldest company in the United States and the nation's oldest tobacco company.
It is an American company right? Does this make any sense then? How can you be the 18th oldest and the oldest? I assume when you say nation you mean the United States? Please clarify or edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.205.54.4 (talk) 21:09, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Makes perfect sense to me. It just means that the 17 US companies older than Lorillard aren't tobacco companies. What's the problem? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.23.183.12 (talk) 15:49, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Intro sentence makes no sense
edit"Lorillard Tobacco Company is the 18th oldest company in the United States and the nation's oldest tobacco company"
So which is it? 71.0.115.130 (talk) 22:30, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- It is both the 18th oldest company in the United States and the oldest tobacco company in the United States. I cannot think of a clearer way to word that. Tomsv 98 (talk) 21:15, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
E-cigarette blu Plus+™
editI just ran across a full page ad[1] for blu Plus+ e-cigarettes containing the small print line, "© 2015 LOEC, Inc... blu™, blu e-cigs®, the blu Plus+™ logo, blu Plus+™, and blu Tanks™ are trademarks of Lorillard Technologies, Inc." The disambiguation page for "Blu" indicates inter alia, "Blu, a brand of electronic cigarette owned by Lorillard Tobacco Company." I also noticed that the disambiguation page for "Lorillard" doesn't mention either Lorillard, Inc., Lorillard Tobacco Company's parent firm, or Lorillard Technologies, Inc., presumably because there's no Wikipedia entry yet for Lorillard Technologies. For the convenience of whoever usually edits this page: http://blucigs.com and http://www.lorillard.com

You failed to include that the company had a manufacturing plant in middletown ohio making a chewing tobacco called polar bear. the plant closed posibly in the thirties or forties. The plant at central and charles near the big four rr was closed before I arrived here in nineteen fifty nine. the plant was razed in the early sixties — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.168.128.10 (talk) 08:42, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
