Los Alamitos lost its' Spanish flavor?

edit

I been to Los Alamitos and nearby towns a few times, and what I read on the demographics section, most residents are "white". It appears there are more Latinos unless I crossed the L.A. county line, and there's a long presence of Mexican Americans in Los Alamitos. The city's history section is proof positive on these claims of a Spanish flavor, but someone in the Los Alamitos article kept deleting my entry like I'm making it up. Not at all, but some census officials classified many Hispanics/Latinos as "white" since they are of Spanish heritage. Before you delete the entry, please read the city's history and think about it. I knew the unincorporated area of Rossmoor is expensive, upper-middle class and many elderly whites live there. The thing is when Orange County's home prices shoot up and there's a trend of wealthy home buyers, the demographics change before you know it.+ 207.200.116.195 04:52, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rancho versus City of...

edit

Rancho Los Alamitos redirects here, but Los Al is only one of several cities on former Rancho land. Since this article has an excellent history section for the Rancho, I'm moving it to that page. --Justin 15:49, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Seal LosAlamitos.gif

edit

Image:Seal LosAlamitos.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
