Hearst's influence overblown?
editI invite others to read the actual newspapers. If one compares the coverage in Hearst's LA EXAMINER with that of the independent LA TIMES. I've done so. The amount of coverage is equal. There's no discernible bias. In my opinion, the "Puff Graham" story is so good that no one wants to question it. For the secular-minded, it's pleasurable to believe that Hearst, even when he was old and ill, was responsible for launching Graham's career. For evangelicals, it demonstrates that God can use any tool he chooses to bring about his desires. 2601:640:8801:2250:513C:F53A:4579:89FD (talk) 00:30, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
