Merge Los Angeles River Bikeway into this article?
editFrom what I can tell, "LARIO" is just a local name for the combination of the lower, east-side-of-river section of the subject of this article, and the Rio Hondo bicycle path... correct me if I'm wrong. --Junkyardsparkle (talk) 21:01, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose, for now: It seems the Los Angeles River Bicycle Path is a name used for the entire 51 mile planned LA River route from Long Beach to Canoga Park, with current completed pedestrian/bicycle path sections having asphalt or DG (decomposed granite) pavement. It seems the Los Angeles River Bikeway/LARIO is a name used for only the lower river section from Long Beach to Vernon, which is an asphalt paved "Class 1" bikeway. The east-side-of-river section connection to the Rio Hondo bicycle path seems to not be distinguished by a name. Then the city of LA seems to also use the name "Los Angeles River Greenway" for the entire river's planned continuous walk/bike routes. My use of "it seems" & "oppose, for now" here stems from current online research results, which lack a sole agency/organization definitively defining/distinguishing them. I may be wrong. — Look2See1 t a l k → 07:28, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
- OK, I'll go ahead and remove the merge tags. Thanks for the recent work on the article! --Junkyardsparkle (talk) 07:51, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
