Censorship wasn't zero (it isn't in any country), but publications could do valid substantial critique against the government and also did so. They also allowed publications reflecting different values from their. "The repressive Apartheid-State" is mostly a Myth peddled by rather strange characters in academia and media, which form a citation cartel.
It's however correct that pornographic or sexually explicit material was regulated. Regulation of other publishing is however irrelevant to the article. 105.8.4.21 (talk) 13:13, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
