editI removed the existing text beginning with "It is often stated that 19 'lots' is generally a good number..." because the methodology in the cited reference is completely unclear, and possibly wrong. Determining the sampling fraction is a critical issue in designing a study using LQAS, as a review of the other citations (or any background at all in statistics or applied research) makes clear.Rmccowen (talk)Rmccowen
