editMy name is Andrés and I´m interested in meeting descendants of Peru de Lacroix, due the fact that I am one of them. I live in Colombia and a considerable group of descendants do as well. If you´re the one who created this article in Wikipedia about Peru de Lacroix, please contact me by e-mail, anddel82@yahoo.com and I´ll be glad to talk and share information about our ancestor. I´m also very interested in knowing where (if you´re the one who started this article) you got the information about Corsica and Peru de Lacroix´s parents as Counts.
Notability / Sources
editThe article currently does not cite its sources. That raises several problems:
- It is currently unclear whether this person from history is notable enough for an article on Wikipedia. By the notability criteria for biographies, independent reliable sources are required to make sure that the subject is notable. These sources might be, for example, an independent biography of the person (i.e. a biography written about him, not by him).
- Content on Wikipedia must be verifiable. Without any reliable sources, nobody can check whether the facts claimed in the article are true; the article cannot even be distinguished from a hoax.
It may well be possible that the sources cannot be found online; that does not matter, it is however important that they are explicitly cited. Please add such sources to the article.
For the time being, I am replacing the “importance” tag with “notability”. Sorted as part of the Notability wikiproject. --B. Wolterding 08:31, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
