Needs more attention

edit

In view of the powerful role of the PSC in regulating utilities in Louisiana, the size of the districts (larger than congressional districts), and the related rise of several former commissioners to the governorship, this article deserves a lot more attention, documentation, and fine-tuning. Yes. There is way too much information about politics and political figures and nothing about what the commission does or has done. Some of the political stuff needs severe trimming. Article is not about people, it is supposed to be about the commission. Elections would be better covered in "Elections of Louisiana" but not here. Student7 (talk) 00:55, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Magnolia Water Utility Operating Company

edit

We received notification from Magnolia Water indicating that, pursuant to the approval of the Louisiana Public Service Commission, rates for water and sewerage would be increasing.

While an increase is certainly understandable, this increase represents a 300%+ cost increase for the consumer. A more than 300% increase is extremely steep and will cause hardship for many of Magnolia Water’s customers.

I implore you to help Magnolia Water find a solution that will not so harshly impact customers.

Thank you, Dawn Pembo 109 Lakelawn Drive 504-453-6458 2600:6C63:417E:CAB0:64CD:F0FA:CEEA:8A2D (talk) 20:25, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
