Perhaps the Louisville island chain originally connected, to the Ellice (Tuvalu) - Marshall island chain, now separated by the spur of the Australian plate, which has obducted a swath of the Pacific plate ? 66.235.38.214 (talk) 20:15, 28 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
