Louhi

edit

Actually, Louhi, the Hag of Pohjola, is unrelated to Loviatar in Finnish mythology.--Idran 21:18, 7 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Move?

edit

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to move this article to Loviatar (Forgotten Realms) and to make this a disambiguation page?--Robbstrd 21:56, 26 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Actually I think it would be more appropriate to make Loviatar the page for the actual goddess and simply provide a disambiguation link to Loviatar (Forgotten Realms) at the top. Any objections to this? Sc00baSteve (talk) 04:29, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Nope. :) BOZ (talk) 14:09, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've moved this page to (Forgotten Realms), as suggested, and have requested an admin to move the (mythology) article to the main Loviatar article. Let's hope nobody was objecting but not saying anything. ;) --Muna (talk) 18:41, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fictional?

edit

"Loviatar is a fictional evil goddess..." How can we know she's fictional? She might be real. This qualifier may just as well be added to all other Wikipedia pages about gods, including all the ones in which the world's established religions actually believe. Suggestions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.66.152.189 (talk) 21:56, 19 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's the expected standard for Wiki articles about fictional characters to beat-to-death the idea that they are indeed fictional characters and not real people. Some folks complain enough that these articles even exist in the first place, so might as well go with them on that much at least. 204.153.84.10 (talk) 22:14, 19 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
