There is no other article called War Memorial Library, so it would not need "Lower Hutt" as a disambiguator at the end. But the name on the outside of the building is "Lower Hutt War Memorial Library". Both the long and short forms of the name are used in various sources. I don't understand Stapletron's statement about Google search results, or why that would be a rationale for the change. Without further info, I don't support the proposed change. Oppose, as I firstly don't understand the Google issue; the nominator might want to clarify what this is all about. Secondly, the official name is used for now and no case has been put forward that the common name is any different to this official name. Schwede6618:36, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Oppose; I can't see any reason for this move. War Memorial Library is a definite no-go, given many libraries across the globe carry this name. Don't see why it should be moved to War Memorial Library, Lower Hutt either, as the current name, Lower Hutt War Memorial Library, is fine as it is.
