Disembaguation?
edit- Shouldnt this be a disembaguation page? Sabrebattletank 23:00, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it should. I say merge it all into a well-organized "Loyola" disambiguation page, well-organized being the key word. These 3 pages are a mess. Ingridjames (talk) 03:52, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Proposed merger performed. Ingridjames (talk) 07:22, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Loyola → Loyola (disambiguation) – The founder of the Jesuits, St. Ignatius of Loyola, perhaps should be the primary topic. While there are half a dozen or more schools with more page views, the schools are all named after him, and aren't referred to as "Loyola" due to confusion. 力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 17:04, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
- The one question I have is there evidence that he is specifically known as Loyola, I’m asking since I’ve heard him more often referred to as Ignatius of Loyola or St. Ignatius.--67.70.100.30 (talk) 21:53, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
- Leaning oppose due to the prevalence of entities named Loyola University, frequently referred to just as "Loyola". BD2412 T 17:09, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
- There's a case for a primary topic with respect to usage: according to the clickstream dataset for November, St Ignatius has received by far the largest share of clicks from the dab page –1,119. The next most popular link – Loyola (surname) – had 146, followed by Loyola University Chicago with 91, Loyola Marymount University with 77, Loyola University Maryland with 56, Sanctuary of Loyola with 54, and Loyola University New Orleans with 45. Seven more articles have received a total of 113 views, and no other article has had more than 10 each (and so isn't in the dataset). – Uanfala (talk) 13:26, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. Page views are irrelevant here as there is no indication the saint is commonly known as Loyola. No one calls St. Francis of Assisi "Assisi" nor St. Catherine of Sienna "Sienna". -- Calidum 01:49, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
