Looks Like BOWIECHICK gave Luke the idea for FRED!!!
editIn Bowiechick's new vid posted recently she explains how she originally created "Zoey" with her voice speeded up and her "Mom" hovering over her and Luke phoned her and asked how she did that, etc. Here is her vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMK5FGq0qcQ AND HERE'S ZOEY: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh7Jc5JU80A&feature=channel but i'm not sure if this matter belongs in the main article here, and i do not write on front pages anywayz. Thank-You! Lesbrown99 (talk) 04:24, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
- While the Zoey video was uploaded before the first Fred video, there is no reliable source for the story about Cruikshank and Oliveria communicating. Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons dictates that all information added to this article must be verifiable. 117Avenue (talk) 05:28, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
THAT IS A VERY COOL REPLY, DUDE!!! I hope we can keep this convo open long enough that we can verify this information, i understand that it is a very touchy area given Nick basically having the "rights" to the character. Thank-You!!!Lesbrown99 (talk) 21:14, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I am still waiting for that reference. 117Avenue (talk) 01:16, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
DEAR 117AVENUE, I reviewed the reliable source rules for a "living person" and agree. Just Sayin' and Thank-You! Lesbrown99 (talk) 00:05, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Why?
editWhy was Lucas's birthday deleted? There was a reliable source! MickWithoutGlasses (talk) 19:08, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- What RS? Do you mean http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&q=what+is+lucas+cruikshank%27s+birthday&aq=f&aqi=g-v1&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.&fp=a0f7908656bc3dcb ? What is the actual page? 117Avenue (talk) 01:11, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
I can explain the orignal poster means that there used to be this on his birthday and age area August 29 1993 age 17 now its this August 29 1993 - 1994 age 16 - 17 basicaly saying his birth year and age is confusing 24.16.49.60 (talk) 04:54, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
- The article says nothing about August 29. We know he was born in 1993 or 1994, and he is 16 or 17 years old, because the Sydney Morning Herald article says he was 14 on June 30, 2008. 117Avenue (talk) 06:11, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
- I was talking about the old version of the lucas cruishank wiki page its supposed to say August 29th 1993 and that hes 17 years old 24.16.49.60 (talk) 01:19, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
- In your above comment, you said "now its this August 29 1993 - 1994", implying that the article currently says a birthday, and two years, which is confusing. I now clarify my correction, and say that the article currently does not provide a birthday. I am aware a previous version stated a birthdate of August 29, 1993. Wikipedia has a strict policy on biographies of living persons, and all information added to such articles must be properly referenced, and verifiable. This is all explained at the top of this page, where you can find the appropriate links. Until a reliable source comes along, stating his birthdate, the infobox will remain to say 1993/1994. Thank-you for your time, 117Avenue (talk) 03:10, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

- There I added a source please leave it as is 24.16.49.60 (talk) 22:29, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, doesn't meet reliable source requirements as I explained above. Wikis are extremely terrible to use, because they can be edited just like Wikipedia. 117Avenue (talk) 22:52, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- well fans know more then you but if you want another source I just added a new one 24.16.49.60 (talk) 23:16, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- Blogs aren't good either. 117Avenue (talk) 23:25, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- I added lucas's official facebook as a source this time FredFigglehornfan (talk) 00:21, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- Facebook is not considered a reliable source either. --Diannaa (Talk) 00:24, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- His YouTube page lists http://www.facebook.com/FredFigglehorn as his official facebook page. If you can get him to say on Twitter his birthday, it will qualify as a primary source, and can be used. 117Avenue (talk) 05:29, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Unsourced information
editThere's a category at the page bottom claiming Cruikshank to be an indie musician, which is invalid as he is not a musician at all. Also, something about a Fred movie sequel was mentioned as the most recent in the filmography. I couldn't find any sources ot these, someone please view the page, as it is a bit inaccurate. TomUSA 22:22, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- Cruikshank produced two albums as his character, you can see Fred Figglehorn#It's Hackin' Christmas With Fred for this information. The sequel is sourced with sources 5-7. 117Avenue (talk) 23:42, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Age
editIf this is the why part why does the page say he is 18 i mean find a concrete source like send him an email asking how old he is for information purposes (for wiki) and then post that to a website or just put up that e-mail. but more importantly why does he play a child that is three times younger than him and why on earth would he sign a contract with nick. at least he didn's sign with disney. (you see where all their stars go) just look at miley, everyones favorite role model. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.109.164.99 (talk) 07:31, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- His age is referenced by reference 2 (The Independent), 3 (The Sydney Morning Herald), and 16 (Business Week), and the birthday is from his own Twitter. Remember, he started this five years ago. 117Avenue (talk) 15:43, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
Category for discussion
editI believe, for many LGBT YouTubers, especially those who have found fame or increase fame through a coming out video, being an LGBT YouTuber is a defining characteristic, just like the Gay politicians or Gay writers category. However, a user has nominated the category LGBT YouTubers for deletion. [see the discussion here] AusLondonder (talk) 09:24, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
Since Lucas Cruikshank is no longer acting as a character, after ending Fred, he is labeled as a former actor.
And he lives in Los Angeles, California nowadays.
The page need an update months earlier. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.84.249.199 (talk) 00:12, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
