Rewrite
editHello there! Just wanted to make everyone aware that I intend to rewrite this page over the next few weeks. I'm going to be adding tons of new information and generally reworking and cleaning up this page. If anyone has any problems, comments, observations or anything that they would like to add, please do let me know on this talk page. Have a great day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Talfuin (talk • contribs) 09:57, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Hello Talfuin - I'm happy to hear that you are taking this on. I see that she will be speaking at QED this April, I hope you can get it done in time for that.Sgerbic (talk) 19:57, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
Rewrite complete!
editOkay and the rewrite is complete! I've massively expanded all the existing sections as well as added 2 major new sections and 3 minor new sections. I've also added ~10 new references and added all of her scientific papers, including links to them where possible. Of course please feel to tinker if you see spelling/grammar/structural mistakes or just have something to add. It has been an incredibly fun page to work on and I am really looking forward to seeing where the community takes this page in the future. Talfuin (talk) 08:29, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
- Great work! --Walnuts go kapow (talk) 09:36, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Article too much PR oriented
editIt appears to me that this article is not written in an encyclopedic manner, but instead seems to glorify the subject with irrelevant personal quotes, a much too large publication list (why not just mention one or a few "main articles"? and specify relevant scientific accomplishments in solar physics?), "likes going out..." etc. Put improvement template.
