This article presents as fact multiple statements that aren't generally accepted by mainstream academics. Thorough, reputable citations are needed throughout. Etherjammer (talk) 05:32, 10 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
The article is not about theories, is about a person. It does not present his theories as a fact, but informs the reader that those are his theories indeed (and this is a fact). Once it is accepted that a person is worth a wiki page, then the article should simply describe her/his ideas as accurately and objectively as possible. If something is not appropriate in the description of the theories, that should be changed of course, so if you think you can improve on that you should do it, for instance mentioning reputable sources that disagree with the ideas of Russo. Moreover, the papers by Russo are published in top-league scientific journals, and his main book by a more than respectable publisher (Springer-Verlag), and are thus fully reputable citations in themselves. This indicates imo that the fringe theories warning can be deleted.71.191.134.58 (talk) 01:38, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough. In service of the page being about the man and not his theories, I have removed the bulk of the text dealing with them. Etherjammer (talk) 01:52, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
