The fact that we have two different individuals as afar as the consular list is concerned argues that there were two different people with very similar name -- not an unusual occurrence in Roman times. (Vespasian & his oldest son Titus, for example, shared the exact same full name.) However, it appears details about the two have been mixed up, & this needs to be fixed. (I don't know how soon this will happen: in my case, I would need to consult authorities at the local university libraries or thru ILL -- which are closed due to the pandemic until further notice!) -- llywrch (talk) 15:37, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Update: Dimadick, it does appear that Pompeianus is a doublet of this article, & either the two should be merged or the other blanked/deleted so an article on the attested person, viz. Ti.
