Source Code

edit

If I remember correctly, the author lost the source code to his game in a hard drive crash, and that's why Lugaru development stopped. Or, at least, until he started rewriting it as Lugaru 2. It's a shame it wasn't open source, because it wouldn't have happened then. — JeremyTalk 09:25, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is this the same Lugaru as the source code here? https://bitbucket.org/osslugaru/lugaru/wiki/Home
BTW the article page says it is open source (GNU GPL), but if the only copy of his code was on one hard drive and it died, it makes no difference. Having a copy of his code on a public repository would help even if the game was under a proprietary license. Good that it is free code though, a shame the art isn't under a CC license.

Secret Level

edit

On the Lugaru wiki, it tells about a secret cow challenge level. Is that a reality and how do I access it? User_talk:TumblingT —Preceding undated comment added 23:52, 19 November 2009 (UTC).Reply

Genre

edit

The page on video game genres describes the genres in some detail, and Lugaru does not appear to be action-adventure. It has essentially no adventure elements. Even the official website calls it an action game. Compactify (talk) 05:37, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
