Incorrect structure
editThe chemical structure in Chemspider database with ID 57427034, despite being named "Lugdunin" there, and "verified by users", does not correspond with the structure published in referenced Nature article (chemspider's structure has additional cysteine in the macrocycle).
I have redrawn the structure: File:Lugdunin.svg. I am currently unable to generate InChI or SMILES strings with proper stereochemistry, however the SVG file contains chemical structure information and can be directly opened in BKChem and exported to different formats.

- This is now resolved. I've fixed the structure on [ChemSpider], and The chemistds has updated this article's ChemBox with the correct SMILES, InChI, etc. WildCation (talk) 12:29, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
Corrected table of NRPS genes
editThe first version of the table of NRPS genes was incorrect because LugA, B, C, and D are not strictly consecutive. I corrected this.
The GenBank records are archival, from a complete genome sequencing project, and may never be updated to reflect lugdunin biochemistry. So I added links to RefSeq entries, which can be updated at will by RefSeq staff.
Extended data Fig 1 describes additional genes upstream of LugA, namely LugJIEFGH, several of which are involved in transport. But those are not well characterized enough to add to the table. That might be too much detail about incomplete characterized genes, so I did not add. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daniel haft (talk • contribs) 11:26, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
