Starting a discussion instead of reverting again. Concerning the release tables at Luke Cage (TV series) and at Iron Fist (TV series), these are effectively a basic series overview table, simply with the release dates included. I believe was actually disagreed upon per WP:TVOVERVIEW - what separates the two of them? One-row release overview tables are not required just as one-row series overview tables are not required, especially when the majority of the cells concern the release dates of DVD and Blu-Ray, which are empty in these two articles. The content shows in the one (or two) rows are already elsewhere available in the article. -- AlexTW05:05, 11 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I don't think the Luke Cage table needs to be hidden, because we have content for 2 seasons, but I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to hiding Iron Fist's until we have more info for the second season. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:19, 11 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I understand what you are saying Alex, but the idea of these tables is that they should never have unique content in them because they are overviews of the release subsections and reception subsections. Waiting until we have DVD dates isn't going to make them non-redundant in that way. The point of them is that these articles are intended to be general overview articles with all the details at the season articles, and these make it quick and easy to get this information. I do agree that using the single-line TV:OVERVIEW approach means we could hold off on the Iron Fist one for the moment though. - adamstom97 (talk) 18:21, 11 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Given that a second season table for Luke Cage is indeed present, I suppose it's acceptable. However, I still stand by my position of not requiring the Iron Fist table. Yes, we shouldn't have only unique content in them, but in the Iron Fist table, there is only two items of information in a whole table that spans the page, which I believe is redundant. But when there is either release information, or second season information that can create both a row in the table and an episode table (the same for Luke Cage and TVOVERVIEW), I would agree that it should be included. -- AlexTW23:35, 11 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is just a general overview, discussing the vague ways that the world of the show lines up with the rest of the MCU. Specific tie-ins from each season are noted at those season pages. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:47, 1 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
