May I express my objection to the use of the term "child soldiers"? The article on military use of children distinguishes between three broad uses of the term. "The military use of children takes three distinct forms: children can take direct part in hostilities (Child soldiers), or they can be used in support roles such as porters, spies, messengers, look outs, and sexual slaves; or they can be used for political advantage either as human shields or in propaganda." Lwów Eaglets fall into neither category. They were mostly senior high-school or college students, so the age group in question is 17 - 22. I do believe that 90% of modern armies recruit their soldiers and NCOs from the same group age. Hence, calling Eaglets "child soldiers" seems a bit preposterous. Any ideas for a different term? -- 128.243.253.112 (talk) 00:03, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
