lyme causes redness in the skin, rashes, bleeding, and may recieve swelling in eyes Lyme Disease is known as the "GREAT IMITATOR" because it mimics so many diseases. It is very smart, in the form of a spirochete, it can infect any part of the human body and presents in so many different ways, it is very difficult to diagnose properly. Misdiagnoses range from MS to Lupus to ALS to Alzheimer's to Parkinson's to Arthritis to Fibromayalgia and so many other diseases, they are too numerous to list. However, one thing is consistent, if put on strong IV antibiotics, if somebody has been misdiagnosed with another disease, they'll start to get better. Then they will probably have a Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction because of the toxins that are let off from the bacteria dying, and then they'll start feeling better again. This cycle tends to repeat itself about every four weeks. What is my source? Me! And hundreds of thousands like me who don't exist to the medical institutions and are being ignored, and we're paying the price...disability and pain beyond anything you could ever imagine. Chronic Lyme Disease DOES EXIST! I am living proof!
