I added Mr Vassanji's complete middle name—Gulamhussein—and place of birth—Nairobi—to the article. Is there some reason why these changes have been reversed?? Are these data secret? Are they obscene?
No explanation was posted for this arbitrary limitation to the article and suppression of information.

Wording-wise, I thought the previous "Like most of the North AmericanIsmaili community, Vassanji is of South Asian heritage, but grew up in East Africa" was somewhat confusing - it kind of inferred that most of the North American Islami community is of South Asian heritage but grew up in East Africa. If this is indeed true, by all means revert it to its original state, but I just thought it sounded clearer without.
