Mainichi Broadcasting System → MBS Media Holdings – As of 2017, the MBS entity that existed since 1950 was restructured into a holding company with the radio and TV divisions being taken over by a new entity under the MBS name until 2021 when the radio division was spun off into a separate subsidiary, leaving the 2017 incarnation of MBS as a sole TV broadcaster.
