Wikipedia is not a directory
editNote that Wikipedia is NOT a directory and therefore sections of channel listings are not appropriate (see item #4) Active Banana (talk) 18:59, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Wikipedia is not a promotional site
editNote that Wikipedia is NOT a site to promote a companies products, therefor lists of the companies "packages" are not suitable for inclusion in the article. Active Banana (talk) 18:59, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Notability
editThe article is falgged as being not natable. Indovision being the biggest Cable TV company in Indonesia is notable. --Shorty23sin (talk) 01:55, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Channel lineups
editI and others have removed the "Channel lineups" section from this page because it clearly violates WP:NOTDIR. There is broad consensus for removing channel lineups at recent AfDs Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of AT&T U-verse channels, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of DirecTV channels (2nd nomination), and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of channels on Sky. User:Derrick Chris has been reverting these edits more than 4 times without leaving an edit summary or comment on the talk page. I would ask that he stops and comments here to justify further reverts. Thank you. -- Wikipedical (talk) 07:35, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

History section: S-Band vs C-Band
editWhile it's true that Indonesia pioneered S-band and it has the advantage of less atmosphereic interference, this is a tradeoff versus C-band which is subject to less interference from other devices (e.g., wifi setups of your neighbors). See: 2.4_GHz_radio_use
Someone with appropriate expertise should clarify this in the History section so it reads less like an advertisement.
It would also be useful to see a description of logistics in regard to how MNC creates programming: for example, basic information about their contractual arrangements for licensing various films, which presumably means lower royalties for older films (which are now pretty much the only ones you can see with a cable subscription unless you pay for "extra" channels).
