Weapons and Sinking
editHeard some rummors that the ship was full of weapons for Syrian terrorists. Is this true? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.218.34.164 (talk) 03:21, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, there seems to be some talk about it. While it's perfectly possible that there are (or were) weapons onboard the MOL Comfort as cargo, for now this looks more like a conspiracy theory than actual news. Some websites even claim that all containers onboard the vessel were filled with weapons for the Syrian rebels.
- Anyway, let's keep an eye on the news. If it's true, it might be worth mentioning in the article even though personally I believe it has nothing to do with the ship breaking in two. Tupsumato (talk) 08:30, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
Considering that Israel bombed the weapons destined for Syrian forces, it doesn't seem too far-fetched to conclude that a certain somebody returned the favor by torpedoing the weapons destined for Syrian terrorists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 223.204.107.182 (talk) 13:59, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- First, referring to them as "terrorists" is WP:POV. Secondly, this was a simple stress crack, weapons or not and terrorists or not; no tinfoil hat is necessary. - The Bushranger One ping only 17:18, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
