suggestion/ expanding information
editI guess this article needs to be improved or expanded at least . There are new informations about MPP+ out there with great works . Such as those drugs that counteract MPP+ effect on DA degenerations as PD modal organism. And putting more references. That way it will be more valuable than just having a couple sentences. is there info regarding its use as herbicide?
editdo we know something about MPP+/cyperquat use (or abandoned use) in agriculture?
it is mentioned as a herbicide at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPTP (by the name: cyperquat, which redirects here), but its described toxicity would suggest that it is either out of use or under strict regulation. all that, however is just my speculation.
now i see that "it is structurally similar to paraquat" and probably what i was asking is covered there. still, does structural similarity mean something like left/right rotating molecule, or maybe i am missing the point? and perhaps paraquat and cyperquat have different uses/regulations/or toxicity, so maybe theres still room to expand and improve this article. 176.63.176.112 (talk) 18:33, 27 February 2017 (UTC).
Erroneous safety citation?
editIn the safety section, source 11 is cited as saying that MPP+ is not toxic via the listed routes of administration, while other sources seem to suggest this, the cited source itself does not appear to. Exilehide (talk) 15:50, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
