There's still a fair amount of work needed for GA and hence I'm Quick failing this for the multiple reasons:

• The The first para of "Personal life" section is completely unsourced and is too small to warrant a separate section.
• First two paras of "Playing style" doesn't even have a single source> This section talks mainly about his achievements; irrelevant to the header
• Overlinking issues
• ODI records and Test records are nothing but WP:TRIVIA with a majority of points being unsourced
• MOS issues like "Match Ban", "Captaincy Record" and "Honorary Awards and Appreciations"; Refs should come after punctuation
• There is a {{citation needed}} in list of test records
• The "Honorary Awards and Appreciations" and "Endorsements" sections are just lists; no prose content if not they must be represented using a table.
• Refs #14, #16, #79, #83, #112 and #115 are dead and many are re-directs.

This a pre-mature nomination as the article has some serious issues with respect to sourcing and MOS compliance. There are large unsourced paragraphs throughout the article which cannot be ignored. The career section just reads like a set of bullet-ted points with no flow/continuation. Also why the Test and ODI careers are split into different sections; if there is a reason for this why T20I was left? This was delisted before four years and I see no major improvements being carried out since then. Instead, the shape of the article has been deteriorating day-by-day. Considering these concerns, I don't have an alternate other than quick failing this article.

Also, it appears that the nominator is new to WP. It's good to consult the major contributors and go for a WP:PR before re-nominating. —Vensatry _{(Ping me)} 12:20, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
