Because the logo for this station has an R with a circle around it, it's listed with the registered trademark symbol, which resembles it. But that's a different character, and this page shouldn't be using it merely as a substitute for a typographical flourish. In keeping with our general policy on brand names, this should just be at MTV R. If we have to have the circled R in the title (which I'm against), then we should be using the actual circle-R character, and have this page at MTV Ⓡ—Chowbok ☠ 02:27, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Support This is a textbook WP:MOS-TM case. hbdragon88 (talk) 05:46, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Support. I dont even get the difference between MTV ® and MTV Ⓡ... oh never mind, now that I have written them together I can see one is bigger than the other. Llamasharmafarmerdrama (talk) 10:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Support, per nom, WP:MOSTM, WP:ACCESS and editorial practicality. – Cyrus XIII (talk) 13:25, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Strong support. Some work on the lead is also required to clarify this very confusing misuse of the symbol. Andrewa (talk) 20:18, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Request seems sensible enough to me. Knepflerle (talk) 13:15, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
