editI am surprised there is no mention in the article of Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel which were both introduced at about this time, and when they were introduced, were only available on the Macintosh. As I recall, these two programs were very important in Apple's attempt to move into the office, and in the Macintosh Office commercials are clearly used to show off the laser printer to great effect.

The commercial featuring Microsoft Chart (which became part of Microsoft Excel) is on YouTube (search 'Macintosh Office Things'), but Wikipedia won't allow YouTube links here (??!!).
